Due to obligations to the DFG under the “Open Access Publication Costs” funding line and the tight budgetary situation, a phased allocation of funds is now necessary.

In the allocation of funds, publications from DFG-funded projects will be given priority. Additional applications may also be funded, depending on the remaining budget. Applications will continue to be processed and approved in the order in which they are received.

Please understand that, due to limited funds, we will likely not be able to approve all applications this year. The book publication fund will be closed once the available funds have been exhausted. You can find this and additional information on this page under the “For Books” tab.
