Due to high demand, the publication fund for books for the year 2025 has unfortunately already been exhausted. Starting October 1, 2025, due to the tight budget situation (you can find all relevant information here), no further open-access books will be funded until further notice. We will continue to process publication proposals submitted through September 30, 2025, provided that the applications include all necessary documentation. The publication fund for financing open-access books is expected to reopen for applications in January 2026. We appreciate your understanding and will post an update on this page as soon as book projects are eligible for funding again.

Open-access books resulting from DFG-funded projects are generally exempt from this rule. Please contact edocs@ub.fu-berlin.de for further information.
