Thank you for your interest in participating in the 2026 MCO Student Essay Competition!

This year, the Magna Charta Observatory (MCO) is inviting students to reflect on the impact that the humanities have on access to education and their success during their time at university. More specifically, the 2026 question is:

How have the humanities influenced your entry to and/or your experience of higher education?

We invite students enrolled in any Higher Education institution in any country to submit their reflections on the topic.

To participate, please follow the steps below:
  

1. Read the requirements on the session ”Formal Requirements” on the website.
2. Read the call on the session ”About the 2026 MCO Student Essay Competition” of the website.
3. Upload and Submit your application to be reviewed.
