Search / Use
An OAI interface is also available on the server, which you can use to retrieve metadata for documents.
An overview of the available contexts (output formats) for the OAI interface can be found at http://refubium.fu-berlin.de/oai
The following metadata prefixes are currently configured:
Default Context: This is the default context of the DSpace OAI-PMH data provider.
Refubium OpenAIRE Context: This context complies with the OpenAIRE Guidelines for Literature Repositories v4.0.
ProQuest Context: This context complies with ProQuest Guidelines.
Primo Context: This context complies with Primo Guidelines.
DNB Context: This context complies with DNB Guidelines, particularly xMetaDissPlus
Digital Representations Context: This context complies with ZVDD Guidelines.
DINI Context: This context complies with the rules of the DINI
Typically, you can query the server with a request of the following type:
https://refubium.fu-berlin.de/oai/dini?verb=ListRecords&metadataPrefix=oai_dc&from=2019-12-18&until=2019-12-20
Please note that you should not select a date earlier than December 15, 2019 for the “until” parameter. Metadata is considered and returned based on the date of the last modification; in our system, these were corrections that ran on December 15, 2019.
Refubium automatically captures and saves all accesses to the metadata pages and related documents. Various evaluations of these statistics are available on the website.
The following values are displayed for each document:
- The number of visits to the metadata page (pageview) since the document was released or since june 2018. Older statistical data are not visible.
- Visits per month on the metadata page (pageview) for the last 6 months
- The number of downloads of the corresponding (PDF) files since the document was released or since june 2018
In addition, on each page of the collections, overall statistics are available, each containing lists of the most frequently visited documents. The views of the metadata (pageview) are used and displayed as a sorting criterion.
All usage data are adjusted for robotic access, as far as this is technically possible.
In addition, total download figures, such as those required for the German library statistics, as well as other data such as frequent searchterms, are also accessible for the administrators.
The statistics will not create in a Counter like manner. even there is no instituion specific downlaod sheet available.
