News from Apr 09, 2026
The BUA project “Collaboratively Advancing Research Data Support” (CARDS) cordially invites Berlin-based researchers to participate in a usability test of the new data management plan templates. The goal of these institution-specific templates is to guide you quickly and easily through the process of creating a data management plan using text blocks and wording suggestions – your feedback is needed for improvement!
Currentlyusability tests for the templates of the following Berlin institutions are conducted:
- Freie Universität Berlin
- Technische Universität Berlin
- Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin
- Charité – Universitätsmedizin Berlin
First, you will create a data management plan for your own or a fictional project using your institution-specific template. Then, you will complete a short survey about your experience. The whole process should take about 90 minutes.
As a thank-you for your participation, you will receive a €10 voucher for books, coffee, or the TU Berlin University Shop.
Based on your feedback, we will further optimize the template to best support researchers at the Berlin University Alliance in their research data management.
Sounds exciting? Then sign up for the usability test by April 30, 2026!
Who can participate? All researchers at Freie Universität Berlin, Technische Universität Berlin, Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin, and Charité – Universitätsmedizin Berlin.
