The Berlin University Alliance (BUA), comprising Freie Universität Berlin, Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin, Technische Universität Berlin, and Charité - Universitätsmedizin Berlin, invites students and researchers from Brazil, their academic hosts, and BUA researchers collaborating with partners in Brazil to a networking reception at the Embassy of the Federative Republic of Brazil in Berlin on July 1. 

FU Berlin, HU Berlin, TU Berlin and Charité maintain close and longstanding partnerships with leading academic institutions in Brazil. The Berlin University Alliance aims to further strengthen the visibility of these collaborations and to foster exchange within the Berlin-based academic community.

The partner universities are actively engaged in the German Centre for Research and Innovation (DWIH) São Paulo: FU Berlin has operated a liaison office there since 2010, TU Berlin has been an associated supporter since 2018, and HU Berlin has held this status since 2022.

Representatives of the Alexander von Humboldt Foundation, the German Academic Exchange Service, the German Center for Research and Innovation São Paulo, the Brazilian researchers’ network in Germany - Apoena, as well as of BUA Clusters of Excellence will be in attendance.

The Embassy of the Federative Republic of Brazil in Berlin will once again kindly host the event.
