Germany is a popular destination for academic study, research, and scientific collaboration. The aim is to provide a comprehensive overview of exchange and cooperation opportunities with Germany. The session will begin with an introduction to the German higher education and research landscape and present the DWIH São Paulo as a hub for German research and innovation institutions in Brazil. Presentations by major German funding organizations will outline programs and instruments that support academic exchange, bilateral research collaboration, and institutional partnerships. In addition, German universities and research institutes will present their academic programs and research portfolios, highlighting areas of excellence and innovative study opportunities. Representatives will offer insights into how students and researchers from Brazil can engage with their institutions, embark on study or research stays or initiate collaborative research projects. The session will also showcase successful examples of multilateral (e.g. South-South-North) cooperation initiatives and offer ample space for discussion and exchange of ideas, encouraging participants to clarify questions, share experiences, and explore new pathways for cooperation involving Brazil and Germany.
