Freie Universität Berlin (FU Berlin) and Technische Universität Berlin (TU Berlin), two of the four institutions of the Berlin University Alliance, are pleased to announce a joint information session at the University of São Paulo (USP) on April 7, 2026.

The event, titled "Info Session: Study & Research at FU & TU Berlin," is designed for the academic community, targeting postgraduate students and researchers interested in either studying a master’s degree, obtaining a PhD or pursuing postdoctoral research at FU and/or TU Berlin. Representatives from both institutions will provide comprehensive insights into the diverse academic and research pathways available at TU & FU Berlin, located in one of Europe’s leading hubs for innovation and research.

The session will cover opportunities across a broad spectrum of disciplines, including:

• STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics)
• Humanities
• Social Sciences
• Architecture
• Medicine

As part of the “Alliance of Excellence”, FU and TU Berlin are recognized globally for their research and commitment to international cooperation. This session offers a unique opportunity for the USP community to learn about funding, the academic opportunities and the collaborative research environment in the German capital.
