What is it about?
Una Europa opens the current application phase for the Joint Bachelor in Sustainability (BASUS) in March 2026. The BASUS premiered last year for a first round of students. Applications are open until 14 April.
This interdisciplinary study programme is co-delivered by eight Una Europa partner universities with the aim of offering students the opportunity to study sustainability across multiple disciplines and countries. Graduates will receive a degree jointly awarded by six Una Europa universities:
- Uniwersytet Jagielloński w Krakowie
- Helsingin yliopisto/Helsingfors universitet
- KU Leuven
- Universidad Complutense de Madrid
- Université Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne
- Universität Zürich
Freie Universität Berlin and the University of Edinburgh are part of the BASUS programme as mobility partners. Students enrolled in the programme will start their journey at JU Kraków. They will then continue with a thematic specification and are able to move to another partner university (see list above). The final semesters of the BASUS can be spend at FU Berlin or at the University of Edinburgh who offer mobility options.
