Freie Universität Berlin is participating in the 2026 Lange Nacht der Wissenschaft and will open its doors to visitors of all ages on Saturday, June 6. An exciting program awaits visitors on the Dahlem campus, featuring more than 220 events in about a dozen buildings—ranging from AI experiments and research on the admission policies of bouncers at Berlin clubs like Berghain to virtual reality applications and hands-on science activities. Around 1,000 researchers, students, and staff members from Freie Universität Berlin will provide insights into current scientific projects and invite visitors to experience research firsthand on site. Tickets are available online and at the box office on the Dahlem campus. Regular tickets cost €7.50; children under 6 are admitted free of charge.
