This year’s International Week focuses on exploring regional and multifaceted challenges that shape student mobility today. The program is designed to facilitate an in-depth discussion on how regional, local, and university-specific factors influence not only students’ decisions and opportunities to go abroad but also the capacities and strategies of universities to support mobility. By addressing both student needs and institutional perspectives, we aim to identify barriers that prevent international experiences and, in response, develop practical and sustainable approaches to improving mobility within diverse regional and organizational contexts.

In addition to structural challenges, the program will also consider broader societal and individual factors that increasingly influence student mobility. Topics such as sustainability, mental health, and student well-being will be addressed as important aspects in the continuous development of mobility programs.

By bringing together these diverse perspectives and topics, the program aims to foster an open exchange of ideas, experiences and practical solutions. Through this dialogue, we hope to better understand the complex landscape of student mobility and to collaboratively shape a more inclusive, flexible, and innovative approach to international education.
