The Research Infrastructures and Networking Unit is responsible for planning and implementing measures that strengthen Berlin as an integrated research environment. Their work focuses on building networks and infrastructures within the Berlin University Alliance (BUA), as well as helping advance the university’s efforts in other strategic alliances. The unit also promotes the participation of researchers in BUA initiatives and coordinates activities to this end. In terms of research infrastructures, the unit provides consulting and advising on funding opportunities and networking initiatives. They are also a central point of contact for information on accessing shared scientific resources, as well as for project planning related to developing research infrastructures.
